A Little Bit About Me
I'm an observant Muslimah who is just trying to live a God-centred life. I am previously married, have grown children, and am looking for someone with perhaps similar baggage but not excessive trauma.

I'm a sociable introvert, not shy at all, but all things considered I'd rather not be anywhere crowded. I'm caring, loyal, tactile and empathetic. I've got a sharp sense of humour and I do speak my mind.

Alhamdulillah I was able to make Umrah for the first time in 2018, and again in 2022. I have not made Hajj yet but have the intention to whenever I am able insha'Allah, but I would rather do that with my spouse!

I converted to Islam a long time ago so 'Revert' is a label I don't normally apply to myself... I've been Muslim longer than I wasn't! I've also lived in the UK longer than I did in my home country, so I consider this home, but I do make annual trips back to visit my mother and family.

What I Am Looking For
I will reply to brothers currently in the UK (citizens only) and of a similar age to me.

A decent, God-fearing Muslim man who tries his best and appreciates his blessings. As a bare minimum, someone who's committed to his salah and the other Pillars.

Someone who respects women and understands the amanah Allah has given him in this regard.

Kindness, trust, loyalty, and humility are key qualities. Knows when to have a laugh, and when to be serious, but also tries to see the positive in all things.

Race/ethnicity are irrelevant. If you've 'got a past' (whether you're a convert or not) I don't need to know the details, as long as you've learned the lessons from it.


The ability to not take yourself too seriously is a bonus!
